Mor Baselious Yeldho Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Bristol

Mor Baselious Yeldho Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church is part of the Syrian Orthodox Church, under the holy throne of Anthochia and all the east. We celebrate our mass in Malayalam, the regional language of Kerala, in India. Holy Mass takes place in Bristol 4 times a month, on the 1st and 3rd Sunday at 12pm, and on the 2nd and 4th Saturday at 9am.

Church History

The Jacobite Syrian Christian Church is an integral part of the Syriac Orthodox Church, located in Kerala, India. It recognizes the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch currently, HH Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, as its supreme head. Our regional head is currently, Catholicos HB Mor Baselious Thomas I. Our Metropolitan is currently, H.G Mathews Mor Anthimos.
